The system your business runs on
Customers, orders, inventory, warehouses and invoices in one place — built on a stock ledger that treats quantities as the sum of what actually happened, not a number someone can quietly edit.
| Order | Customer | Total | Status |
|---|---|---|---|
| #1042 | Riverside Café | R 3 480 | Delivered |
| #1043 | Northgate Supply | R 12 900 | Loaded |
| #1044 | Blue Peak Ltd | R 5 950 | Pending |
| #1045 | Summit Traders | R 990 | Confirmed |

An order, from cart to delivered
Every order moves through the same honest states, and every quantity it touches is posted to the stock ledger — so on-hand figures, per location, are always the sum of what actually happened. Stock is reserved as an order is confirmed and released as it ships.
- Pending → Confirmed → Loaded → Delivered, with every step logged.
- Invoices raised against the order, with amounts paid and due tracked.
- Numbering claimed under a lock, so no customer receives a number twice.

Sell on account, and chase what you’re owed
Customer accounts carry credit limits, payment terms and a status. Before an on-account sale completes, Aura checks the account — refusing when a client is inactive, on hold, or the sale would breach the limit. Balances, statements and ageing are derived from the invoices and payments that already exist, so there’s no second ledger to drift out of sync.
- Credit limits, payment terms and credit holds.
- Statements and ageing (current / 30 / 60 / 90 / 90+).
- One payment can settle many invoices.
| Ageing | Current | 30 | 60 | 90+ |

| Balance | R 8 400 | R 2 100 | R 0 | R 0 |

Stock is the sum of a ledger, never a hand-typed number
Every movement — a sale, a refund, a purchase receipt, a manual adjustment, a transfer — is posted as an append-only ledger entry. On-hand quantities are projected from that ledger, per location, in the same transaction. Nothing edits a quantity directly, so a per-store figure is always exactly what happened to it.
- Movement types: stock in, stock out, adjustment, transfer, reserved, released.
- Low-stock alerts against a per-product minimum level.
- Reconciliation proves the ledger equals the cached totals.
| Movement | Location | Qty |
|---|---|---|
| Stock in | Main Store | +60 |
| Reserved | Main Store | −12 |
| Stock out | Main Store | −6 |
| Transfer | → Van 2 | −0 |

Every location is first-class
A location can be a warehouse, a store, a van, a bin or in-transit, and bins can nest. Stock transfers dispatch into an in-transit location and clear on receipt, so nothing is lost between two places — and cancelling a dispatched transfer returns the stock to its source.
- Sellable locations, so multi-store on-hand is true.
- Transfers that cannot silently lose stock.

Paperwork that adds up
Invoices carry a subtotal, tax, discounts and a total, and track how much has been paid and how much is still due. Each moves through clear states, and every invoice and quotation number is claimed from a per-tenant sequence under a lock — so no customer ever receives the same number twice, even under load.
- Invoice states: draft, sent, unpaid, paid, overdue, cancelled.
- Quotations: draft, sent, accepted, rejected, expired.
- Purchase orders and vendors, with amounts owed.

A till your team can run a shift on
Registers open with a float and take cash in and out; a blind cash-up produces a Z-report that computes expected cash and the variance against what was counted. A sale can be split across cash, card, voucher and account together — and payments sit behind a provider-agnostic ledger, so adding a provider never touches the selling code.
Registers & shifts
Opening float, cash movements, one open session per register, and a Z-report with variance.
Split tender
Cash + card + voucher + account on one sale, each with its own reference, change returned on over-tender.
Provider-agnostic payments
A payment-intent ledger with a one-way state machine and verified, idempotent webhooks.
